Have You Played Golf in Florida's Unique Cities?By Mario J Enciso Jr

Most people who have played a round of Florida golf understand how remarkable it can be. With the warm sunny skies and clean air you will find that most tee times will begin the perfect day on the rolling green. While many popular spots such as Miami and Orlando are places people can attribute with golfing, there are some other very unique cities that you can load up your clubs and head out to while enjoying the best Florida has to offer.

One of the best comes from Mt. Dora. Here places like the Magnolia Inn can help you be close to the golf course, while you have the ability to stay in a home built in the 1926 era. While you are waiting for your tee times to come up, you can start to enjoy a full gourmet breakfast served exclusively for those who are staying at the Bed and Breakfast. Or you can wander the luscious tropical gardens that surround the establishment and admire how remarkable it remains even in modern times.

When you do set out for your Florida golf game, you will find there are a number of beautiful golf courses to choose from. Each designed to give you the most from the Florida weather and scenery. With your choice of small sized or full 18-hole courses, this area can certainly double as a golfer's dream come true.

If you want to travel more for your Florida golf games, then perhaps your next stop should be in Howey-in-the-Hills. Here you can find the 1926 Bed and Breakfast hot-spot called The Duncan House which originally served as a plantation. In it you will find a number of beautiful suites that will leave you with a smile on your face as you experience all that can be offered from a quality establishment.

For your morning tee times, you will find that you are full of a delicious meal cooked for you in this one of a kind establishment. From here you can choose some of the best rounds of Florida golf on courses like El Campeon, located in The Mission Inn Resort. It is among one of the highest ranked courses in the area and will certainly be the perfect match for any day of the week.

St. Augustine is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Florida. Many people find that they enjoy how the area looks, and marvel at the history that is associated with it. If you are new to the Florida scene, and have never taken the time to explore outside of playing Florida golf, this is the perfect destination and if you enjoy hitting your tee times but your loved one has nothing to do, this will be an area you both can enjoy.

Here you will want to stay at the St. Francis Inn. Built in 1791 it is the second highest rated Inn in the United States and is the perfect location for getting to all the areas of the city you might be interested in, by both foot and vehicle.

While you are here you can hit the St. John's Golf and Country Club and spend a perfect day as you catch up on your tan while you play 18 holes on a USGA public course. It is one breathtaking area of scenery that you won't want to miss, and with so much history close by, the entire family will be able to find something to do while visiting this area.

St. Petersburg is probably the last set of the most unique cities for the Central West Region of Florida that you can visit for a great game of golf as well as having something to do. Here you will find a number of great museums and other items to do while you enjoy some of the best Bed and Breakfasts in the area.

The best of the bunch is likely The Dickens House which was established in 1912. Here you can relax before your tee times and enjoy the quiet comfort of a home away from home. When you are ready to hit the courses, you might consider heading out to the Twin Brooks golf course to catch a round of Florida golf.

Florida is one of the best places you can visit, and when you take the time to visit the different golf courses as well as the Bed and Breakfasts that make this area exceptional, you find you have the chance to experience Florida golf in the best way possible.
