About Me

I moved to Florida back in 1974 and have lived in the Tampa Bay area ever since. I love this area and all the things that Florida has to offer. But it can be overwhelming at times with the many choices.

We have places like Orlando with Disney World and Sea World, Daytona Beach with the Daytona 500 and the 24 Hours of Daytona, all the different sports teams such as The Tampa Bay Bucks, The Lightning and The Tampa Bay Rays. In Jacksonville you have The Jaguars and in Miami you have the Panthers and the Dolphins.

There are over 1300 golf courses in the state of Florida, places like Innisbrook near Tampa, TPC of Tampa Bay and Doral in Miami, the golf courses that most people know and have heard about.

I started playing golf when I moved to Florida and it became my passion.

What I want to introduce to you are the places you don't hear about, places like Howey-in-the-Hills and Mt Dora, Apalachicola and Destin. Place that have an immense amount of history, with friendly people that are glad to see you visit their town, which will go out of their way to make you feel at home just like it used to be a time gone by.

In these towns with lots of tradition with golf courses as old as the 1920's like El Campeon in the Mission Inn resort by Howey-in-the-Hills Florida. By the way if you visit this part of Florida you will be amazed by the fact that it is not flat, there are actually hills here!

My name is Mario Enciso and this web site will introduce you to a part of Florida you have never visited or heard about. I started the effort in June of 2010 and have a lot of work ahead of me, but I think you will be informed and hopefully I will expose you to that part of Florida not visited by many.
